Beach Yoga (Serenity by the Sea)

Class description:
Yoga indoors is ideal for most, but many find practicing yoga poses (asanas) on the beach to be more beneficial. For one hour, our studio relocates and you awaken your mind and senses while immersing yourself in the fresh ocean air. Whether you are new to yoga or just looking for a relaxing experience, this class will help you develop muscle, flexibility, and balance in a calm and soothing environment. The tradition of Yoga means, “to yoke” or “create union”. While at the beach, our instructors help you “create a union” with nature through physical movement, breathing, and meditation.

Felice combines her love of the sun and salty breezes with a flow class for all levels. This is a fantastic way to get a great outdoor workout in and experience the meditative qualities of our beautiful Carolina Coast.

Because of beach solicitation laws, registration is required in advance for this class. Book online or call studio and charge over the phone.

We will meet up at the Garden City Beach pier 110 S Waccamaw Dr, Garden City (don’t park at pier, but in the parking spots across the street and walk down to the beach) Bring a Yoga mat or towel and some water.

AVAILABLE SUMMER MONTHS ONLY: 2019 Summer is held every Sunday at 7 am at Garden City Pier…Single class can be purchased online or over phone with cc.  Due to beach solicitation laws, advance registration is required.
