With experience as the best teacher, Natalie is a seasoned pre-natal yogini. As a mother of 2, she used pre-natal yoga for symptom relief in both pregnancies and can help you feel better now also. She had an empowered home water birth, unattended, with her 2nd baby in February of 2016. With coaching from her husband, a nice bath, quality essential oils and a few cat/cow/malasana sequences she woke the ancestors birthing him into the world. She attributes daily pre-natal yoga to the easement of her natural delivery.
Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Natalie has lived at the beach since 2011. An Army soldier since 2003, she recently returned to the beach from a 3 year tour of duty at FT. Stewart, GA, where she worked as a nurse case manager while managing a primary care clinic for wounded soldiers transitioning out of the Army due to injuries. While on orders, she trained and graduated from the Savannah Yoga Center with her RYT-200 and began teaching adaptive yoga classes for wounded soldiers and family on base. Her time in the military, with notable duty stations such as hospital nursing at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, has familiarized her with a multitude of injuries and yoga’s ability to help the body to heal itself. From surgeries to trauma to PTSD to insomnia, Natalie has oil and a pose to help you now, just ask.
